Important Reminders

Recoup fuel costs with delivery surcharge option

Did you know that your Karmak business system can help offset rising fuel costs by adding a delivery/fuel surcharge to parts invoices? This option applies a surcharge to delivery parts orders and lets you specify whether the surcharge will be applied to the total for parts only or the pre-tax invoice total. Legend Version 5.8-1 or higher or INFO 5 Version 7.2 or higher is required. Refer to your documentation, or contact your Parts & Service support group for details on using this cost-saving feature.

INFO 5 Version 7.3 Update is Now Available

Karmak, Inc. is pleased to announce the general release of INFO 5 Version 7.3. We encourage you to load this update as soon as possible. By staying up to date, you'll benefit from new features and fixes that can increase your productivity and business system performance. Here are just a few of the enhancements in this release:

Detailed documentation and release notes can be found on the FIDO CD that will be sent with your update. You can also access FIDO on our Customer Confidential website at http://customer.karmak.com. To request your company-wide Customer Confidential password, please contact Heather Gardner at 1-800-865-8991 or , or use our online Request Form.

For IBM iSeries/400 systems, the Version 7.3 release requires a minimum of OS/400 Level V5R4M0. INFO 5 Version 7.2A must also be installed on your system before Version 7.3 can be installed.

Please contact INFO 5 Applications Support at 1-800-865-8991 or , or use our online Request Form to request your Version 7.3 Update CD. You will receive your CD approximately two weeks after your request.

Legend Version 6.0 Upgrade is Now Available

You can also access DocWizard on our Customer Confidential website at http://customer.karmak.com. To request your company-wide Customer Confidential password, please contact Karen Zwicker at 1-800-252-7625 or , or use our online Request Form.

For HP Alpha or Integrity systems, the V6.0 release requires a minimum of OpenVMS 7.3-2. Please call 1-800-252-7625 or e-mail Shawna Morton at to request your Version 6.0 upgrade CD. You will receive your CD approximately two weeks after your request. The upgrade sent to you will include a 30-day expiration date.
