Dealers' Conference 2000 exceeds expectations

This year, Karmak invited its clients to "Meet Me in St. Louis: The Gateway to Your Profits", and more than 300 clients did just that Sept. 28-30 for Dealers’ Conference 2000.
With 51 new classes and 71 total classes, there was something for everyone at this year’s Dealers’ Conference. Clients agreed the face-to-face interaction and the broad range of classes made their trips to St. Louis well worth it.
Giving clients tips and teaching them how to use their systems to the fullest potential is always the goal of Dealers’ Conference. This year’s conference also focused on helping clients increase their profit using their Karmak systems more effectively, more efficiently, and more productively.
In addition to the classes offered at Dealers’ Conference, clients could visit several vendors in the Sales Room. With representatives from eight vendors on-hand, each with giveaways, handouts and promotions, the Sales Room was a hotbed of activity throughout the conference. In addition to the outside vendors, several Karmak demonstrations were set up in the Sales Room, giving clients a chance to see products coming soon from Karmak.
The Karmak Training Center also gave away four free sessions. Gerard Gautrau from Parish Truck Sales (Legend), Allison Laing from Cooper Kenworth (Legend), Ron Posante from Uhl Truck (INFO 5), and Lisa Ray from Triad Mack (INFO 5) each won a free Karmak Training Center session.
Judging from the feedback on the general conference surveys, clients were pleased with Dealers’ Conference 2000.
Each year’s conference builds on the success of previous conferences, and Karmak hopes to continue that tradition when it hosts Distributors’ Conference 2001 at the St. Louis Downtown Marriott Hotel and Dealers’ Conference 2001 at the Renaissance St. Louis Hotel – Airport.
