Accounting
- The Accounting Module will now protect clients from posting A/P transactions to any closed accounting periods.
- A position was added to Message Member 0211 to give clients the option to password protect the Customer Master Record, via
Menu AAR1, option 15.
Parts
- Message Member 0146 was created to allow clients to set the defaults for fields to transfer during a Parts History Transfer, via
Menu AJINV, option 9. Fields have also been added to the Parts History Transfer screen to allow the user to change the defaults.
- A series of programs was added to allow clients not currently using the Core Management System to reorganize the Customer Core Tracking (CORETK) and Dirty Cores On-hand (COREOH) files. Reorganizing these files will allow the clients to begin using the feature without irrelevant data in the files.
R&L
- A delete command was added to Menu ALEASE, option 8 for deleting Posted Fuel Ticket Batches, provided all tickets have been invoiced.
- Password protection options were added for rental contracts from
Menu ALEASE, option 1 and Menu ARENT, option 1. The password is entered in the Access Contract Maintenance option from Menu AODSYS, option 15.
Service
- Positions 19 through 26 of Message Member 0962 were created to allow clients to require a password to display cost on the Labor Work-In-Process report, processed via
Menu ASERV, option 14 and Menu ALABOR, option 8.
- Position 23 of Message Member 0904 was added to allow clients to determine if labor cost should display on the work order segment review, via
Menu ASERV, option 2, and on the work order history, via Menu ALABOR, option 8.
Other
- A procedure was added to allow those clients with Command Line Authority the option to view the procedures behind the current menu. Clients can type
MENUSHOW on the command line to execute this new option.
- A new End-of-Day option is available that will save the necessary libraries to a savefile rather than save them to tape during the A cycle of End-of-Day processing. This savefile will then be saved to tape during the non-dedicated cycle of EOD and will allow for less downtime during the dedicated cycles.
