Karmak’s new Bar Code Receiving capability
will provide Legend and INFO 5 customers with the ability to scan
multiple purchase orders in a single session. Bar Code Receiving
raises the efficiency of warehouse and parts business locations,
and advanced features such as wireless transmission of data to
your Karmak business system will increase inventory management
efficiency even more.
Since it requires only one person to
operate, Bar Code Receiving enables parts managers and inventory
controllers to spend more time on true inventory concerns and less
time deciphering handwriting. And, it allows them to more
accurately post counts, with the ability to review and correct
quantities before data is sent to the business system. Plus, Bar
Code Receiving increases entry speed, allowing counts to be
entered more efficiently.
In addition to freeing up warehouse
personnel for other tasks, Bar Code Receiving allows parts to be
shelved faster, backorders to be filled faster, and reduces
overall turn around time from the part entering the building to
being picked or sold.
