After parts have been scanned, the Trakker unit is cradled into a docking station that is connected to an existing PC. With the click of a button, the information is passed from the handheld unit to the PC, and from there you have the option of reviewing, modifying, or leaving the data as it is. With the click of a mouse, the data is then sent to the AS/400.
The INFO 5 software will automatically post the parts into inventory. If there are any errors regarding quantity or missing parts, an error report will print, notifying you of the discrepancies. The PO Bar Code Receiving module is a true time saver that is easy to set up and use.
