Automatic placing of ordered parts into separate orders the way you and your Cat distributor like them, minimizes manual intervention, improves accuracy, and results in more timely fill.

All your ordering activity occurs at the one point where you need it the most--in your business system.

Parts data simplifies your business processes and saves you time 
Cat part numbers carry descriptive information to help your parts counter and service management people improve customer service:

  • Parts supersession helps pick the right part when the part number has changed. 
  • Reman parts availability is identified when it is an option.
  • Package quantity and minimum quantity requirements allow you to make better restocking decisions.
  • Merchandising incentive information assures you will know about available profit improvement opportunities.
  • Hazardous materials are identified so you will know when specialized handling and documentation are required.

Part pricing is automated and more frequent
Once a month, Caterpillar parts prices and part information will be automatically made available to your Legend and INFO 5 business systems. This will keep your prices synchronized with your Cat distributor, minimizing over or under pricing to your customers.

Time Requirement Guide (TRG)
Dealer personnel can search for, and select, proper TRGs online. All comments and add-on operations are also online. Digging through TRG manuals is no longer necessary. Technicians can be made aware of time allowed for repair prior to starting the job.

Warranty Download
No more signing on to Caterpillar to manually enter claims information that is already available in your business system! Warranty claims are automatically generated from your closed work orders, then your warranty administrator can review and finalize the claim.

Warranty claims are automatically sent to Caterpillar from your dealer business system twice daily. Claim status is available the next morning via the Web Warranty Parts Return application.

Work Order Sweep 
Open W/O information is automatically transmitted to Caterpillar twice daily. Caterpillar engineers and product support personnel are automatically e-mailed when a repair or failure matches their search criteria, and they can then contact you regarding the issue.

In addition to helping Caterpillar monitor product quality more effectively, future enhancements include on-line notification to your service department on critical issues (e.g. wrong parts, open service items, etc.) before the Caterpillar engine leaves the shop. 

Caterpillar Reman core management
When implemented, core management will significantly simplify the process of returning cores to your Caterpillar distributor. It will provide better notification of core entitlements that are about to expire and will be a single point for reconciling core inventory between you and your Caterpillar distributor.

The result will be the credit you deserve when you deserve it.
