Did You Know?
Track R/O
numbers quickly and easily with the Legend R/O number log
 |
by Paul Reynolds,
Product Architect |
How much time do you spend tracking repair order numbers each day? Do you ever need to know where an R/O came from, who invoiced
it or what happened to it?
The Legend system maintains a log file of every repair order that is created,
invoiced and deleted. The R/O number log includes the date and time an R/O action was performed, the username performing the action, program performing the
action and a description of the action. The R/O number log is immediately updated when an action is performed.

Legend
documentation correction
An error in Inventory Control Volume 1, chapter 21,
Delete Old Special Order and Obsolete Parts (IN981), may affect how part
records are deleted from your system.
Page 1 incorrectly lists under Deletion Criteria: "There has been no
activity for this part during the current or the prior year." This should
read: "There has been no activity for this part during the number
of months specified in Master Option File line 87." For example,
if 10 is entered on Master Option File line 87, then all parts that have had no
sales in 10 of the last 13 months will be deleted if they also meet the other
criteria listed.
We regret any inconvenience. Contact our Parts
and Service Support Group for additional help with this program.

First and foremost, most clients will be
able to receive the update on CD-ROM, which will greatly reduce the LODRUN process.
Another System-wide enhancement falls more behind-the-scenes, but
clients will notice that they will have to evaluate the status of queries to accommodate
for nearly every file in the System being externally described.
