General Release
7.0A update
| INFO 5 Release 7.0A is
currently in beta testing and should be available for general
release in April. This release will also include an updated
version of the Friendly INFO 5 Documentation On-line (FIDO) CD.
One free FIDO CD will
automatically be shipped to your main location with the Release
7.0A upgrade package, but branches can order additional CDs for
$20 each.

New Regional
Manager joins Sales team

Jerry Osborne
|
Jerry Osborne recently joined the
Karmak Sales team as the new Regional Manager for the Southeast region. He is responsible for Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, and the Chattanooga, Tennessee
area.
Jerry comes to Karmak with over 25 years of sales management experience in the heavy-duty truck industry. He has worked for International Harvester Company, Rockwell International, and most recently as Regional Manager for Western
Star.

The Scheduled Payments module was created to handle any and all recurring payments that are tied to Accounts Payable in the INFO 5 System. The Scheduled Payments

INFO 5 Tip

Correcting duplicate key errors when adding parts or labor to a work order
When the error message "Duplicate keys were found while adding
record to file OPWIP" or "Duplicate keys were found while
adding record to file OHREQ" is displayed, enter a 3 and
press ENTER to cancel the operation.
Select Menu AXX2, Option 14 Reset PWIP Seq# and WKORDS
totals. Enter a W for Work Order or E for Estimate
and press ENTER. Then enter the work
order or estimate number you are trying to clock out of or add parts
to and press ENTER. This should allow
you to add parts or labor to the work order.

Tip
- Shortcut for entering duplicate budget amounts
When changing budget amounts in General Ledger Budget Maintenance
(GL800), use this shortcut to enter duplicate amounts. At any point during the entry process, enter an asterisk (
* ) to copy the last entry into the remaining months.
