In order to improve our Customer Support services, we’ve made it easier to reach our Support Representatives after normal business hours with a new phone option.
When you call our general 800 Support lines between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Central Time on weekdays, or all day weekends and holidays, you will hear a pre-recorded message. At any time during this message, you may now enter the 4-digit extension of the Karmak Representative to which you wish to speak. Your call will be transferred directly to that Representative (if available) or to his or her voicemail (if unavailable). If unavailable, and you leave a voicemail, the Representative will return your call as soon as possible on the next business day.
To ensure that your support needs are met, we have staff available for emergency calls at all times. Simply remain on the line and choose the available options to reach an on-call after-hours Support Representative.
Please be aware that calls received outside of your call window will be considered after hours support and will be billed at the after hours or holiday support rate, as indicated in the pre-recorded message when you call.

Automated Communications Software Recognized for Innovation and Effectiveness
Karmak, Inc., is pleased to announce that its Client Talk automated communications software has been selected by the editors of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Journal (HDAJ) as one of the Top Five 2010 Aftermarket Products. The award, which was presented on January 21 during the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 10 in Las Vegas, recognizes products for their innovation and contribution to truck dealers, distributors, and aftermarket sales organizations.
According to a news release recently issued by HDAJ, "Karmak stood out for the development of Client Talk, a software solution to help heavy-duty parts and service operations. The application works by sending e-mail notification to customers when important business activities happen. Addressing an important issue raised by the Technology and Maintenance Council of the American Trucking Associations, the communications tool fulfills the need to keep trucking dispatch fully informed of the progress of repairs."
Client Talk improves communications by automatically notifying customers when their service work is completed or when their backordered parts have arrived. E-mail alerts can be customized with customer-specific messages that can enhance parts and service sales. Client Talk is fully integrated with the parts and service modules of Karmak's business management systems.
