Who is Decisiv?
Decisiv, Inc. provides financial and performance analysis to over 150 medium and heavy-duty truck dealers and carriers. Decisiv recognized the need for a streamlined, consistent service quoting process. To address this need, Decisiv provided dealers with a service that would be available to everyone in the shop, provide consistent and professional estimates in a matter of minutes, and put managers back in control of pricing. Over the past two years, Decisiv has worked closely with Freightliner LLC to develop DecisivPricing and International Truck and Engine Corporation to build the Diamond Estimating System. Decisiv continues to work with Freightliner and International to enhance these products.
What is DecisivPricing/Diamond Estimating System (DES)?
DecisivPricing for Freightliner and Sterling and Diamond Estimating System for International Trucks are internet-based services that provide immediate access to over 250 service operations. DecisivPricing and DES can reflect each dealer’s unique parts and labor pricing requirements, including customer-specific pricing, by manually populating the customer’s specific pricing configuration. Professional customer estimates are emailed or printed and handed to the customer in under three minutes, compared to an average of 30-45 minutes without DecisivPricing/DES. An internal shop card is generated, which provides a complete list of parts and part numbers, skill level and hours for each repair. Estimates are saved, creating a complete history for each vehicle and owner. Usage reports provide useful information on who is writing estimates and for which customers.
