Customers who e-mail support questions find several advantages over phone calls. They have a written record of when they sent the request, what the issue is, when Karmak responded to the request, who is working on it, and all responses sent by both parties. E-mail messages can help eliminate the misunderstandings of phone conversations, and can serve as a reference for similar problems in the future.

Lee Robak, Karmak Software Specialist at Maxim Transportation Services, Inc. stated, "I can also keep people informed at my end of everything at the same time, just by ‘cc-ing’ my e-mail correspondence that pertains to their particular problem (which serves a dual purpose)."
