Setting Message Member 3192, position 15 to Y allows INFO 5 users to enter an alpha character corresponding to the pricing level from the tape as the price pointer in special pricing by stock class
(Menu AMNTP, option 9). Based on special pricing setup, pricing for any part may be pulled from the price pointer in the Price Master as follows:
- By stock class
- By customer
- By customer group
- By branch
- By stock class and any combination of customer, customer group, or branch.
NOTE: Stock class is the one constant. Any combination of the other parameters may be entered but stock class will always be present.
This enhancement requires INFO 5 Release 7.1A, as well as the Post 7.1A Update Cumulative PTF dated 5/12/04 (or later).
