Rick Salvador has been with Karmak for
over eight years and is the Manager of Customer Services. The thing he likes best about working with clients is, "Our customers are a really good bunch. It's great to be able to help where I can to make Karmak their choice and a good business partner for them."
Mary Compton has been with Karmak for
over 8 years and is a Systems Support Specialist. Her everyday duties include assisting clients with their AS/400 software issues; consultation, implementation and support of IBM’s Level 40 Security; and configuration, implementation and support of Karmak’s AS/400 for the ASP environment. What Mary enjoys most
about working with clients is “assisting in the resolution of their problems so they can resume focus on their other issues.”
Melissa Odom has been with Karmak for
over 6 years and is a Systems Support Specialist (however, she is quick to point out that “everyone in our department is a ‘jack of all trades’”). Issues that she works with include anything “systems”-related,
such as iSeries 400 OS and hardware, network issues, PC’s, routers and printers. Besides working with clients, she does a lot of support on Karmak’s internal network. What she likes most about working with clients are “the day-to-day challenges and not knowing what the next call is going to be about. Our clients are such a great group of people to work with.”
Billy Ellison has been with Karmak for 2 years and is a Systems Support Specialist. His normal duties include working on network issues, setting up and troubleshooting printers, and other hardware problems that may arise. He enjoys working with clients because “The general attitude of our clients is great. They are eager to learn the system, but are willing to get help when they need it. And it makes it that much easier to fix problems when you can share a laugh with it. Also the understanding of our clients when I'm having to learn new areas as my knowledge base grows is a wonderful asset too.”
Dane Long has been with Karmak for
over 2 years and is a Systems Support and Installation Specialist. He usually works with the
ProfitMaster Bar Code Receiving/Inventory module, but also does Systems Support when he is not on the road. Additionally, he sometimes helps out in Applications Support because that is where he started in the company. When asked what he likes most
about working with clients, he replies that he enjoys “getting to talk to so many people and learning the different aspects of each dealership.”
Steve Askew has been with Karmak for
almost 2 years and is a Systems Support Specialist. His normal duties include working with hardware problems and
KOLD. When asked what he enjoyed most about working with clients, he replied, “Each day presents new challenges”.
