Heather Gardner has worked for Karmak for just over four years and is the Manager of Office Support as well as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Operations, Chuck Scahill. Heather doesn’t have direct contact with the clients on a daily basis, but says she likes “knowing our clients are happy and satisfied with our services. As a manager of Office Support I strive to make sure my group is on the same page so we can help our clients with speed and efficiency. It is important to me that we have an attitude of service towards our clients.”
Betty Booher has worked for Karmak for just over two and a half years and is an Office Assistant. The thing she likes best about working with clients is, “Their different accents and personalities are so fabulous; I can recognize who some of them are that way. They just barely get a word out, and I know who it is. I just really enjoy talking to them, and have gotten to know a few of them without actually ever meeting them.”
Dawn McMillen has worked for Karmak for one year and is the Office Clerk. Dawn is usually the first person you talk to when you call Karmak; although she also performs other tasks such as invoicing and shipping. The thing she likes best about working with customers is, “Learning about, interacting with, and helping out our clients. Helping our clients reach the people who can help them or being able to answer their questions when they call in feels good. We have a great diversity among our clients and every client I have spoken with on the phone has a wonderful personality. Answering the phones for Karmak is my favorite part of my job and this is because I know on the other end of the line is one of our many clients.”
