How can I find out what price groups my vendors are in?
Using the program Brief Vendor Listing (IN622), you can request a printout of this information. You can access this program from the Purchasing menu. This report lists every vendor and includes such information as the vendor code, name, address, phone number, price group, and the purchase order vendor. To have the report sort in price group order, set Central Parameter line 3 (Sort order) for IN622 to a 2.

How do I print the customer type customer numbers currently on the system?
Use the program Request Customer Price Levels (AR610R), which is found on the Price Control menu. At the Print pricing records only? <cr> or Yes prompt, answer Y and only the customer numbers beginning with 99xxx will print. This display will identify all of your customer type customers.

How do I display the last vendor that was invoiced?
In the program Accounts Payable Invoice Entry (AP100), using the linefeed key in the vendor record will display the last vendor for whom an invoice was created. This information can be helpful and will save keystrokes if you are entering multiple invoices for the same vendor.

How do I produce a vendor listing that includes the taxpayer ID number?
Using the program Vendor Listing Request (AP600A), you can display a list of all vendors and their taxpayer ID numbers. To do this, run a Vendor Master Listing, checking on Federal ID field not equal to spaces. Using this information, you can determine those vendors to whom you would possibly send a 1099. In addition, you can check on Calendar YTD Paid field greater than $600.00 to get a list of 1099s before you submit them to batch.

Did you know about the Repair Shop Productivity and Efficiency Report?
The Repair Shop Productivity and Efficiency Report Request (RS837A) generates a report that includes all time on open repair orders regardless of the date range entered. This program uses clock-in dates rather than invoice dates to measure employee productivity and efficiency. The program can also be used to generate the report with the information expressed in dollar amounts instead of employee hours.
