ProfitMaker 1.1.8 update

continued from What's new at Karmak?
<BACK

New with ProfitMaker version 1.1.8, if you have the Accounting Interface enabled, you can determine whether you want to use labor costs when exporting.  Another new option lets you determine whether to export by Company Name or Customer Number.

On the System Setup window, select the Accounting Interface tab.  You may select the Export Labor Costs check box to post labor cost of sales and work-in-process.  Clear this check box if you do not want to export labor costs.

Also new to the Accounting Interface tab is the Export Customer Key Field drop-down list. It allows you to export the ProfitMaker Customer Number or the ProfitMaker Company Name. The default is to use the ProfitMaker Customer Number. This is important for ProfitMaker users who are using or plan to use the Accounting Export to QuickBooks. ProfitMaker 1.1.7 and below will always export by Customer Number, not by Name.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you switch to export by Company Name and you have already exported customers by Customer Number, a duplicate customer will be created in QuickBooks.
