In 1998, Dorris joined Karmak with an
extensive background in technical writing, in addition to editing
and copywriting. Her first position as a Technical Writer in the
Documentation department, combined with her organizational skills,
led to her promotion to Manager of Internal Training and Education
in 1999. As manager of this newly created department, Dorris
coordinated comprehensive programs to educate and grow the
internal Karmak staff -- keeping them abreast of upgrades in their
dealer and distributor business systems, and other advances in
technology.
With a degree in English, Dorris came to
Karmak from the New Jersey-based Funk & Wagnalls New
Encyclopedia.
