- Three-Character Branch Code
You can now enter up to a three-character, alpha-numeric branch code. This will especially benefit those multiple-location companies who wish to use city abbreviations as branch codes.
- Three-Character Vendor Code
This means the part number is now a total of 30 characters (up to a three-character, alpha-numeric vendor code and a 27-digit part number).
- Multiple Bin Locations
You can now create multiple bin locations by part. Inventory
File Maintenance remains unchanged and will display the primary bin location as well as total quantity on hand.
Secondary bin locations can be modified and maintained through a new maintenance program. A report is available to
let you know when your bin count does not match the total quantity on hand. This can run on demand or through a recurring request, which runs in NITELY.CTL. You can now do both Physical Inventory and Cycle Counting processes by multiple bin location.
- Accounts Receivable Bank Deposits
A new program allows you to post different types of receipts (e.g., cash, check, Mastercard, Visa) to different general ledger account numbers, instead of posting all receipts to the Cash on Hand account. You can implement this feature by branch or headquarters locations on multiple-branch systems.
- Customer Number File Maintenance
Allows you to add and maintain the next available system-assigned customer number in
Customer File Maintenance (AR900). The system still allows you to assign your own customer account numbers.
